Mid Week Mini List
Kind of a mixed bag today with a few late editions for you. No real underlying theme here just a glimpse of what I have been bumpin with the windows down on a summer cruise. (Images by Kamen Kamenov)
Taking nothing away from Mele's newest EP that was released a fortnight ago but I can only handle some tropical and grime unless its been processed and regurgitated by such producers as French Fries. He has total control over the jungle wanderings of the original with a more progressive interpretation that breathes new life into the Merseysiders EP. This is of course is the opinion of someone who plays tech and house not UK Funky or Tropical so don't forget the salt people. The EP also has a cracking remix from Nadastrom and Heavyfeet not too mention two more altered beat new step from the heart of Liverpool. Buy it all HERE.
Mele - Bombay (French Fries Remix)

I have been taking it pretty easy on all of you lately neglecting the genres of electroclash to the back burner to feature smoother house tracks instead but today that ends. Meet Dirty Super Car. Possibly the worst name so far for 2010 but who gives a fuck. The B-side is a clubby Beetroots style thing that has less appeal than the original below which is a category 5 face melter. Buy it all HERE.
Dirty Super Car - Get A Grip (Original mix)

We will assume that everyone is familiar with both Mikix and Momma's recordings so we can dispense with his bio to feature a hot up an comer named Sovnger. With a disctinct 90's edge as the title insues one must be careful not to enter the realm of the mashup. Not a scent of that here though with thumping nineties club formation mixed with the infinite female vocal loop and club beat bottom. Buy it all HERE. .
Momma's Boy VS MikiX The Cat - At Night (Sovnger 90s Remix)

Always good to finish strong and to that effect I thought that Wax:On records should be able to add the depth and creativity to an already solid post. DJ E.A.S.E. is best known for his work behind the scenes with the hugely successful Nightmares On Wax and now he has taken that next step to create his own imprint. Buy it all HERE.
Matt Walsh - Honey Comb (People Get Real Remix)
Bonus Bit:
Aki Bergen's work with one of my favorite deep house producers Kevin Yost was what first drew me to his work. Stylistic, funky, designer feel house, with heaps of soul.
Aki Bergen - Daftastic World
