Saintly Sounds

Finally someone has stepped up alongside Fred Falke on an EP and challenged the assumption that his track would be the standout. With brighter notes that admittedly follow the FF playbook Australia's Cassian (Formerly known as CSK OK) brings the bass to the fore where I like it. We now see shining melodies with beautifully placed horn stabs. Cassian doesn't bury the house beneath layers of analogue grit like FF so the sounds are delineated more clearly and the overall execution of this young producer is superb. Cassian will have an EP out soon on Bang Gang and it will be special so pay ya attention.
