Dim Mak, Dan Sena, and Weird Science

Something I forgot to mention in my posts over the last month is that we now have a Facebook fan page for you to checkout. Also our myspace friends have grown over the last couple of months from 0 to over 430 artists and blogs. We are happy to say feedback has been positive these last 12 months and as we approach voulesrandom's 1st anniversary on the 22nd we hope that you continue to visit the page on the daily because I will postin every possible moment I can without losing my day job.

Dan Sena from DIM MAK sent us cracking remix of Weird Science's 'Haus Of Cards'. If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times the West is the Best in North America right now with artists coming from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Mexico and of course California. There are pockets of talent all over the U.S. and Canada but none more concentrated than the Western U.S.

DIM MAK's clothing lines and record label have a had a major hand in the uprising of new scenes for parties and fashion in and around L.A. They have done for North American electro what Ed Banger and Kitsune have done for the French. In short they rule.

actually i'd disagree on the west being the best.

Sure there's a lot of producers and parties being concentrated in LA, but its all the same sound. East coast has a lot of dynamic development right now, especially in new york and miami.

brooklyn has got its bass-heavy house from the likes of Drop the Lime, AC Slater, Udachi, etc.

Then Miami is developing over with house as always. Minimal tech is being pushed much more now.

Also, don't forget Canada...Toronto!
