Sunday Post (Compressed)

As I sit here and watch 'A Cross The Universe' I can only sit back and reflect upon last evening with a little bit of pre-Christmas glee. After having seen more than my fair share of live shows in 2008 I can honestly say that A-Trak is hands down the winner. He danced with the crowd behind and in front of the tables he is so adept at controlling. It was so refreshing to hear a truly live mix rather than Ableton or lesser mixing consoles that sound far too clinical. All last month the most blogged about topic was Justice'gate' and the damning (but completely explainable?) photo of them faking the funk. A-Trak would never succumb to such a fate. He separates himself from his peers showing all of the composure and professionalism one would expect from a DMC champ and ex DJ to you know who. (photo : ianrandom)
