'Walking On A Dream' Timothy Marc Remix

There have already been quite a few remixes of Australians Empire Of The Sun. So far the Sam La More remix was the one to spin but it has been eclipsed by some new editing by fellow Aussie Timothy Marc. Using less of the tracks original elements TM actually outperforms his competitors by not completely copycatting the poppy nature of the base material. I asked Tim to send me a quick bio on himself to shed some light on this emerging talent from down under.

• Djing for 5 years and honing the production craft for 2 and am super busy in the studio at the moment doing some remixes, as well as originals which will be coming out over the next few weeks. Collaborating with Bass Kleph (Vacation records) on a project as well.

• Playing club gigs around Melbourne, Australia every weekend and producing music during the week with influences such as Eric Prydz, Laidback Luke, to guys like Surkin and Switch and even home Aussie born guys like Dirty South.

• Influenced early on by the french house scene with artists such as Mr. Oizo and Daft Punk.

• The Empire of the Sun remix has a real summer feel to it as we are getting into festival season over here in Australia and what better a track to have as the anthem this year!
