The last time we all got excited for the Count and Sinden was when they hit us on our 'Beeper' but they have returned with some 'Hardcore Girls'. Recently signed to Interscope and touring with M.I.A. 17 year old prodigy Rye Rye is the B More hardcore girl vocalist on this one and like the effort put forth on Diplo's latest she makes the track hum with her Lady Sovereign style dub step delivery. Gomma records just keeps dialing in the the best in funky offebeat house music. Here we have Germany's Munk getting Down In L.A. with Shazam. 'Live Fast Die Old' was remixed by Ed Banger Allstars and The Juan McLean and with this single they keep the house fire burning by enlisting one of the hottest Aussie producers right now. Upcoming remixes for Shazam also include Sneaky Sound System and Empire Of The Sun(OOOOH baby)

And now for something that I think you'll only find in the pages of VR is a new snippet of the 'Jack' EP by Greek tech funk producer Kreon. Smooth glitch filled percussion and vocals bounce over the quasi jazz melodies. Classic VR intellihouse here. As usual nowhere near the party tracks found elsewhere this one is for the late night heads who take house seriously.

Something interesting sent to us via Soundcloud was this John Dahlback remix done by Chicago's unsigned assassin Addiction. Michael Sansone shines the bright lights of Chicago house onto the disco dancefloor with killer originals found on his myspace. His remixing is right there keeping the same frenetic, funkafied pace.

Smooth synth driven masterpieces seem to the mark of any good Aussie original or remix. Well then I guess its no coincidence that both artists involved in this excellent rework are in fact Australian. Every single person who read these words needs no introduction to Cut Copy, I am however happy to recently learn of the fantastic Hundreds and Thousands. The song 'Earth Girls' from their myspace player reminds me of my youth where every damn song on the radio had synth and it pretty much drove me insane....oh how things have changed! Now I am finally free to love it due to its underground DIY ethos.

German producers BEENS also sent us some colossal shit with their new track called "What You Think' . Hip hop vocals blast over a helicopter chop melody carried by relentless underlying bass intensity. Fidgety and funky beats that spawn visions of dark, smoky, warehouses.
