Big week of releases and as usual I haven't been nearly up to the task of keeping you apprised of all the greatness that is infinitely being created (even as I type damn it). So Sunday comes and I pay my musical dues in the form of a recap. [ART Dave Kinsey @ BLK/MRKT]

Hot Chip with Fake Blood. I could say just that and you would be all over it. New remixes from Fake Blood have taken on tighter more refined beats. When mixed with the synths from Hot Chip you get the perfect blending of style and textures.

Another cut from the new 2 part EP from Sweden's The Touch. Swedish house in all its forms is fast becoming my favorite part of the globe for arena sized bottoms with smart house top melodies and leads. Stuffa (also from Sweden) is more than capable of aptly raving up the already huge 'Heart Of The City'.

Machines Don't Care scare me at times. I don't want to be misunderstood here so I'll clarify. They create such creepy original sounds that the level of what others have to do to keep up with their drum and bass break scapes is quite a high watermark . It's simply some of the most innovative stuff coming out of the British Isles at the moment. When I heard that Trevor Loveys was slated to remix 'Beat Bang' I was more than a little giddy with anticipation. Handling all of the bassline energy with precision he cuts and slices the Machines to shreds then recycles them back into a transformed dancefloor cyborg.
