New Mock & Toof, Tiger Stripes

I have been feeling everything DFA over the last few months and I am stoked to have a newish Mock and Toof track called 'Underwater'. DFA records is home to Murphy's LCD Soundsystem the label is currently home to The Juan Maclean, Hot Chip (North America only), Shit Robot, Delia Gonzalez & Gavin Russom, Prinzhorn Dance School, Booji Boy High, Shocking Pinks, Holy Ghost!, Hercules and Love Affair, Still Going, Syclops and YACHT. These two smoothed out hustlas are dancefloor intellectualism at its finest. The sound of music refined beyond the boring lounge house labelling.

In the future I will start to put up older referential musical materials that have commonalities with the current cutting edge. I love the progression of electronic music but I also dig on the influence and the effect they have on current productions being released. The Booka Shade is from the 'Darko' EP meets Hot Chip remixes from 2006 and the Tiga is from the remix album from Joakim which is set to drop on October 27th on Tigersushi records .
