I have some other interesting music today from Bobby and Klein. Bobby and Klein are French duo GIOM and VINZ, from Niort, France. Originally a drummer and a bass player influenced by Funk, Disco and Hip-Hop, they started DJing and making beats together in 2001. At first inspired by the French Touch sound of the late 90s, it was discovering the likes of Derrick Carter and Dj Sneak that really got them hooked on House music. We have a couple of choice cuts from the 'Jackzilla' EP that was released earlier this year on Guesthouse Music. 'I Want Sax' is a groovy house stepper with big analogue finger pluck basslines slammed together with moogy sounding organ top key sections. 'Jackzilla' is a gigantic horn laden monster with all the positive house party feel any self respectin plate spinner could want. Garagey basslines here work to perfection with the classic house vibe.
