Hot Chip's 'Hold On' Switch L.A. Remix

The track 'Hold On' from Hot Chip is as close to indie dance as you can get. The earthy bass lines and swirly guitars apply a disco sheen to a modern electro sound. When Switch gets a 'hold on' the track its considerably more disturbed. Containing sparse elements of the original and fusing them perfectly to a Crookers'ish bottom line Switch does the Chippers proud. Almost adopting their style in the process with his electro Chiptune mimicry. Besides having Switch's LA remix there are edits by Mock and Toof(also excellent), Kollektiv Turmstrasse, and Ewan Pearson. Switch has a London(LDN) remix for the E.P. which is also a blinder.
