80kidz - Life Begins In Japan

Japan is first to greet the sun everyday as it arrives in the east. There must be some early bird advantage to being the first to wake on earth. Whether its art, technology, food or in this case music, the land of the rising sun always seems to deliver me to a dimension not yet discovered on the blue planet.
80kidz have been on my radar for awhile but only recently have they released their mini album called 'Life Begins At Eighty' which has songs like 'Television Talk' starting of the album with rude electro that builds steadily with over distorted drums and constant editing on the melody which rumbles and stalls in a cacaphony of digitization.

Then is breaks to the 'Fxxk Fox' track which also gets a heavy duty remix by autoKratz here. Both the original and remix are perfect new electro as they meld elements of electro house and industrial better than anyone I've seen. The autoKratz remix is easily discernable from the original as it is much smoother and has that english cold funk feel that is their trademark slant.

'Disdrive' is probably going to be another one that is set to blaze as it has all the cheap synths and layering that I could ever want all the while leanin to the darker side of the genre with spaced out piano parts that will sing out live.

The title track 'Life Begins At Eighty' is start/stoppey number that has super funky bass and muddled guitars that act as an anchor for the Mstrkrft style execution.
