Sunday Super Post

I've been a little busy this week so the super post is a touch smaller than usual. I promise my full attention in the weeks to come. The new Scion CD Sampler is rife with maniac remixes of the IHEARTCOMIX lineup. Scion's marketing department has to be commended on how well they have 'cool hunted' the hipster craze. By aligning themselves with so many DJ's and artists they have leapfrogged many competitors in reading the new tastes of the youthful music consumer of present. This 500,000 copy release is for free across the US this summer. Big thanks to Kidz by Colette for the original post, as always in the blog world Kidz By Colette never fails. So big up!

Sam Sparro hails from the City Of Angels. He has just released his new EP entitled 'Black & Gold'. One of my favorite cuts from this release is the remix by Paul Epsworth better known as Phones. The others that apply the remix is Max Sanna & Steve Pitron, as well as Al Usher.
The sound of this vocal housey bouncer is dancefloor ready and shows a perfect clubby side of Mr. Epsworth that I've not seen before.

Christian Sims & John Revox with a little help from Eric Laville keep it in the french family with this tight ep release called 'Holiday'. I've had this one for a while now but kept pushing it back.

Goyte (pronounced gore-ti-yeah) is known for its innovative alternative electro. Ocelot steps up here to apply the Texas touch to the Aussies. I am still loving the vocal of indie being mixed with my favorite electro outfits. It seems that the formula is unstoppable right now as people realize that rock can dance and electro can rock. It has given the earthy tones needed in the sometimes cold sounds of electronic productions.
